A new site (for the company that makes websites)

I'm pleased to launch the new Breeze website, at last. The past year has been a busy one, as we've spun off Breeze from Driven Media and renewed our focus on web services for our small business clients. With numerous new client projects under development, it was challenging to find bits of time here and there to get the site launched.

The cobbler's children go shoeless

This time worn expression has an element of truth in it. Regardless of vocation or industry, when you're busy applying your expertise for your clients or customers on a daily basis, finding the time and energy to tackle your own internal projects can be challenging.

We see this dynamic at work all the time. There's the carpenter with the unfinished house they started four years ago; the tourism operator who never goes on vacation; or the doctor who neglects their own health.

To buck this trend, we're launching the new site, this blog and our e-newsletter —intentional efforts on our part to keep our clients in the loop on what we're doing and what's happening in the fast-moving world that is the web.

The rate of technological change continues unabated, along with a never ending stream of new buzzwords that supposedly every small business must embrace (social networking, Twitter, mobile, to name a few.) On this blog and in our e-newsletter, we'll take a look at some of these trends and help shed some light on what they mean for your business —whether they're worthy of your time and attention, or are merely just the buzzword of the month.
